Enough is enough; if you don’t understand Network Marketing, then either educate yourself on EXACTLY what it is or keep your mouth shut! What you are doing unintentionally or intentionally is crushing peoples’ dreams that are just starting out in this Industry. Without any knowledge on your part, you are putting judgement on something that you cannot concisely explain yourself. If you have been in this Industry and haven’t succeeded in it, that is on YOU, not the Industry.
Network Marketing is the ONLY vehicle that is available to the common person to build wealth. It is a business and has the same statistics in terms of success than all other businesses out there except the monetary risk that is laid out by the business owner doesn’t come close to what is needed for investment into traditional business.
The negative PERCEPTION of Network Marketing being a “scam” or “pyramid scheme” has to stop. This perception has changed a lot since the 1980′s when Network Marketing had some bad eggs in it (as does every other industry), but we still have a ways to go.
One of the MAJOR contributors to this bad perception of Network Marketing are from “business professionals”. I came from the corporate world where I worked as an International Controller for 17 years and understand the way the majority of these people work. They “think” or, rather are programmed to think, that; “getting your education and getting a long term position with a company while moving up the ladder” is the “legitimate” way to build a comfortable living. Well, they’re wrong! I fell into that trap for 17 years and, thank God everyday, I was introduced to the Network Marketing Industry. It is almost as if the “business professionals” are jealous that someone, without the “educational background” that they have, can make multitudes more in income than they could ever think about achieving. Personally, I feel sorry for the “business professionals” because all that education is actually going to waste since they can’t take the training in critical thinking to a point where this Industry would make ABSOLUTE SENSE if they really looked into it.
Bottom line is before you run someone down that is actually trying to change their life through the Network Marketing lifestyle, take a look at yourself and ask yourself; “Why do I feel the need to run this person down?” You may find that something deep inside you yearns for the same financial freedom. The majority of those bad mouthing the Network Marketing Industry are people that didn’t succeed when they tried it. They “see” the potential, but don’t have the drive within themselves to work it at a level that is consistent with Network Marketing success. As with any business, you do have to work HARD to achieve success in this Industry.
