Taheebo

TAHEEBO

The amazing protector from the rain forest

Taheebo, is the common name for the inner bark of the Red Lapacho tree. The Lapacho tree (also known as Pau d’arco) remains remarkably immune to the common fungal spores that infest and typically kill many neighboring trees in the rain forest. Lapachol, a key active component in Taheebo, has demonstrated broad-spectrum immune support. It is a staple for many seeking a holistic approach to better health.

Pau d’Arco Tea has been used for many centuries by the Indio tribes of South America. The ancient Incas and Aztecs were probably the first to be familiar with the herbs healing powers. Stories abound telling of its miraculous curing powers.

Beyond lapachol, Taheebo is a phyto-nutrient powerhouse. Also unlike most Taheebo commonly available as dried bark in loose tea or capsule form, ours is 100% liquid extract from the purple Lapacho tree, ideal for mixing with other liquids.

A friend of mine mixes taheebo with peppermint and gives it to her children along with lots of vitamin C whenever they are sick with a cold or flu. She has been amazed at how well this tea works in speeding up their recovery from whatever ails them.

Another advantage to using taheebo is, when added to other teas, particularly in the summertime when the days are warmer, it’s anti-fungal properties help to prevent them from spoiling.
